Saving Face: A Haunting Story from Bodie

On Monday, October 7, Stacy Corless recounts a dramatic tale adapted from the short story by George Shirk (and from a favorite Bodie ghost story), and leads a discussion on unheard voices from Bodie's history. A potluck dinner and business meeting begins at 6 PM at the Lee Vining Community Center at 296 Mattly Avenue; the story-telling begins at 7 PM. Stacy is a Mono County Supervisor, a long-time resident of the area, and was a teacher, writer, and executive director of the Friends of the Inyo.
